It is hard to keep a cheerful attitude sometimes. We watch the evening news or listen to talk shows on the radio when we are driving our car around town. What is even worse is when we allow our bad mood to reflect in our driving or our conversation. At times we can become very aggressive and hurtful. We are all only human and have our good and bad moments. But, we can also make choices in our life as to how we are going to react to what is going on around us.
Let’s go back to the beginning. Let’s think of something to be thankful for when we are depressed or in a bad mood. How about, being thankful for a nice warm bed at night, or a comfortable pair of shoes. A good friend to talk to is a blessing. A cool glass of water on a hot day, or a warm cup of tea on a cool day, these are small things to be thankful for.
So, next time you feel your mood barometer going out of control think of something to be grateful for. Better yet think of ten things to be grateful for.
Blessings to you,
