I recently went to a Christian women’s conference and I would like to share my experience with you.
Needless to say the music was good, but the worship was better. There were wonderful speakers and meaningful workshops. There were door prizes given out and lots of laughs to be shared. There were tears of joy and tears of healing taking place at the same time. It is always amazing how God works in these venues. When the Holy Spirit takes control of something like this, hearts are healed and He uses one stranger’s to help one another. It is so wonderful!

From the sidewall of the main meeting room I could observe all the different things going on. The part that I remember the most is the worship time. Imagine, almost 500 women, most with their hands raised, singing to God and telling Him how much He means to them. The words of love for their Heavenly Father was pouring out of them. They love him because He loves them unconditionally. Perhaps they were reaching to touch Him and to have Him reach down to touch them. They were asking for more of Him in them to heal them, empower them, teach them and fill them with His love that they might love like Jesus loves. They had put their denominational differences aside and just focused on GOD! They didn’t care which kind of Bible the other one read, they just knew that it was God’s word and is true. They didn’t care how they were dressed; the important thing is that they were there. They didn’t care what color their skin was, they are all His children and that is what counts.
As I was resting yesterday and reflecting on all the blessings that I had received I wondered how I could explain the event to anyone? The best I can think of is that this must be what it will be like in Heaven, all of us just worshiping our Lord, all day long, and abiding in His love for us. How wonderful that will be! I can hardly wait.
“Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”
